How long have you been in recruitment for?
"An old colleague reached out at the start of Covid as we were both looking for work (at the wrong time) and here we are, or I am, 5 years later. What began as two people trying to find a way forward during a difficult period gradually evolved into the idea for starting my own recruitment business, and that is ultimately how Real Recruits came about."
What made you decide to start your own recruitment business?
Being one of the top sales turnover businesses in the group more than once has definitely been my biggest highlight. It’s a real marker of how far the business has come and a reminder that the hard work and consistency truly pay off.
What has been your biggest highlight so far?
Be prepared to work hard if you want to succeed; nothing comes easy. You have to stay focused, put in the effort consistently, and be ready to push through the tough days, because that’s what ultimately leads to real results.
What advice would you give to others who are thinking about starting up their own business?
Partnering with key has been a positive experience , I’ve build some great relationships with some amazing talent and the support network is great.
