Meet Paigen Tabiner: The Admin, Payroll & All-Round Support Powerhouse Behind Key Selection

There are people in every organisation who quietly keep everything running smoothly. At Key Selection, one of those people is Paigen Tabiner. Her role touches so many parts of the business, yet she remains calm, helpful, and ready to jump in wherever support is needed.

If you have ever wondered who helps keep information organised, who makes sure payroll is accurate, or who steps in to guide Equity Partners through systems and admin, this is the perfect chance to get to know Paigen a little better.


When asked about her role and how she would sum up what she does, Paigen shared, “Provide support in many aspects of administrative duties, help with CRM systems, supporting EP’s with projects, tasks, reporting & training, temp weekly payroll, perm invoicing, helping operations organise advertising, in the past I’ve also had a hand working with the credit control team – and if I don’t know answers to some questions – I know the best person to ask!” Her work spans so many functions that she has naturally become the person people turn to when they need clarity or direction.


Her day to day routine involves a wide range of tasks that help the business run smoothly. In her words, “Creating new clients/jobs, scheduling applicants out – then the weekly temp payroll. Invoicing perm fee’s when required, supporting with some training/Access help. Making sure the system info is correct to ensure a smooth transition to HO for payroll. Gathering info from EP’s for the likes of advertising/Experian.” Every part of this keeps the wider team organised, informed and able to deliver for their clients.

Temporary payroll is one of those processes that can feel confusing unless you are familiar with what goes into it. Paigen summed up her approach very simply and very honestly: “Organisation is key, making sure your clients/candidates & jobs on the system are set up correctly, ensuring deadlines are met.” It is this level of consistency that ensures everything runs on time week after week.


Alongside temp payroll, she also plays a major role in supporting perm invoicing. For anyone who has ever found the process tricky or time-consuming, Paigen’s reassurance is always appreciated: “Absolutely anyone can ask for support – again making sure that all client details are correct on the CRM makes processing the perm invoices simple.” Her door is truly open to everyone.


A big part of Paigen’s role involves working closely with several Equity Partners. She listed the support she currently provides, saying, “HSC – training on the CRM system, weekly invoicing, scheduling bookings. Revive Education – temp weekly payroll & scheduling, new clients & invoicing. Accuri – temp weekly payroll & scheduling. Three Sixty – Clients & perm invoicing. Steve Ball – holiday cover, temp weekly payroll, invoicing and Taylor Made's payroll & scheduling. As well as this, I have also set up with the new EP, Relentless Recruitment." Her ability to adapt to different partners and business needs is one of the many reasons she is so valued.

Paigen also helps people across the group get comfortable with the CRM. She has a very human and practical approach to training, explaining, “Everyone works differently – I work best by being shown and giving it a go myself! Teams, sharing screens, quick guides and having a go! Theres many ways we can do it, I can support with full training of the system, or help out with mini bites for refreshers – again, if I don’t know, I know who to go to.” Whether someone is brand new or just needs a refresher, Paigen is always ready to make the learning process feel simple and approachable.


When asked for her top tips for staying organised, especially for people new to the group, her advice was refreshingly down to earth. “Recruiting & sales is very important, but if you’re not organised with admin it can end up costing you more time. Organisation is key! I still live by old school to-do lists to ensure all tasks are completed.” It is a reminder that sometimes the simplest systems are the ones that keep everything on track.


One of the final things Paigen shared was what she wishes more people knew about the support she offers. Her answer captured her personality perfectly: “Nothing is to big or small to ask, if I can support I will!” She means it, and anyone who has worked with her knows how true that is.
