"I began my career in recruitment on January 5th, 2011, and since then, I've amassed significant experience connecting talented individuals with rewarding opportunities. My commitment to continuous learning ensures I provide top-notch service to clients and candidates."
How long have you been in recruitment for?
"I started thinking about it back in 2018/19 when I saw how much money I’d made and how much I actually received. I was getting tired of the larger recruitment firms and the consultant disagreements, changes to commission structures that happens with clients and jobs and wanted a clear path to recruit in without all the politics that can bring. I also thought and witnessed first hand how the service given to clients can be taken away with the politics, consultant disagreements, and changes to commission structures."
What made you decide to start your own recruitment business?
"Biggest highlight was starting in the first place, second highlight is supporting my clients in getting the right people first time and not having 1 rebate in 14 years."
What has been your biggest highlight so far?
"Running your own business is demanding; carefully consider the commitment required, including sacrificing holidays and securing a solid client base. Purchase your domain from GoDaddy or Google. I built my website personally, but Key Selection can assist you with yours. Also, having a partner to work with every day can bolster your morale and expedite business growth, as challenges arise and success follows. Simply persevere."
What advice would you give to others who are thinking about starting up their own business?
"The partnership has been vital to the success in good time and essential in bad times. The network of business you can call on for advice, mentoring and from the chairman is priceless and will help you on your way. Always remember that everyone wants you to succeed and all EP’s are on the same river just in different boats."
