We’re excited to share an update from our recent adventure on Friday, August 23rd, 2024. The Key Selection team, alongside several equity partners, embarked on a hike in the stunning Lake District. The day was filled with breathtaking views, great company, and a touch of adventure.
Originally, the plan was to hike Loughrigg Fell, but due to recent floods, the team opted for a more challenging route up Nab Scar. The walk was a steady incline all the way up, with uneven footing that added to the challenge. Reaching 1,253 feet in elevation, the views from the top made every step worthwhile.
After the hike, the group returned to the beautiful Lindeth Howe Hotel, which served as the base for the trip. It was the perfect spot to relax and swap stories before enjoying a lovely evening meal together. The food was exceptional, and the hotel itself was stunning, offering a truly memorable experience.
A highlight of the trip was the opportunity for recruitment directors to connect and learn from one another. These interactions are invaluable for exchanging insights and fostering growth within the industry. The experience was both enjoyable and beneficial for all involved.
At Key Selection Investments, events like these are highly valued as they strengthen relationships and enhance collective knowledge. The team looks forward to organizing more opportunities like this in the future, anticipating even more engagement at the next event.
Special thanks to Phil Bottomley, CEO, for organising the event and selecting the stunning Lindeth Howe Hotel. Appreciation is also extended to Dawn Howe, Sophie Iveson, and Melonie Debenham for ensuring everything ran smoothly.
