How long have you been in recruitment for?
"Starting my own business was something I always wanted to do, partially as I liked the idea of being able to apply my own ideas to recruitment but also the opportunity to build something great.
Meeting with Phil back in 2018 proved to be the deciding factor as he showed me a direction that would then allow me to carve an exciting path forwards. After this meeting, it was an easy decision."
What made you decide to start your own recruitment business?
"The biggest highlight for me was our company playing a key part in the Covid response. We were able at short notice to build up a flexible workforce of over 100 people to help in manufacturing an important product."
What has been your biggest highlight so far?
"Be resilient! We have had incredible times and really tough times. When things are great it can seem easy but fighting back from adversity is tough. With that said, partnering up with Key Selection has given me all of the support that I have needed both in the good and difficult time."
What advice would you give to others who are thinking about starting up their own business?
"I would answer this with 3 points;
• It gave me the opportunity to start, which I would have never had on my own at that time.
• It gave me the support at difficult times, which is more than I could have expected.
• It has provided me with an incredible network of incredible people, with a range of both crazy and exciting ideas, that has served to inspire and drive me forward."
