How long have you been in recruitment for?
"Starting my own business was always part of the plan for me. I’m as passionate about the industry today as I was all those years ago. I finally took the leap in 2018, motivated by the prospect of having full autonomy in my business as well as growing a reputable, local multi-sector recruitment agency in EES Recruitment."
What made you decide to start your own recruitment business?
"At the risk of sounding a cheesy, there are so many! Each record broken is special. Positive feedback from placed candidates remains the main highlight. As Managing Director of my own business, witnessing my team's career development hits differently from when I was employed."
What has been your biggest highlight so far?
"Have confidence and belief in yourself, make a good plan, buckle up and go for it! The journey won’t be straightforward, but it will be worth it."
What advice would you give to others who are thinking about starting up their own business?
"I’m so glad that I decided to partner with KSI. I am supported and mentored as an individual, and the business has been financially supported through launch, growth and beyond! We’ve weathered Covid, and the various other external economic challenges that in reality don’t ever stop. Also, having a group of sister-businesses and a network of other Directors/Business owners to."
